Just installed a King Tourpack on my 97 RG - everything went great except that the antenna cable doesn't reach to the new mount inside the tourpack. Does anyone know of an extension cable that fits?? I need about a foor of length. Dealer says to keep undoing tie stays along the frame until I get enough slack, but they are a pain to get to.

Any thoughts

Well you should be able to get one at an auto parts store, But there should be enough cable like your dealer said.

 

Have you thought about getting a fairing mounted antenna and eliminating the hassle of the antenna all together? Just a thought, thats what I did on my street glide when I added the tour pack. Cleaner look when the tourpack is off also. .02

 

How long is the one you have and how much longer do you need, I have 2 here both different sizes in length. one is still new in the package
