no start
This past Monday drove to have luch with the wife, bike started right up and drove fine. Upon leaving after lunch all the bike would do is crank, never even tried to start. Messed with it all day no start, trailered it home, again no start. Dealer picked it up Tuesday and no start. Wed they rolled it into service, no start, then put it up on the lift and it started. It has stated everytime since. No check engine light and they could not find anything wrong. My wife does not feel comfortable now. They said fuel pressure was 60lbs. I had to be something to cause this. Never once tried to fire.
The MoCo will try to say there is a loose nut between the handle bars and the seat.
Something is loose somewhere, possibly a bad ground.
The dealer needs to check it further and find the problem.
You don't want to test their roadside service and/or towing service.[:@]

I would pick it up and stay in your area a few days and test it out. Then when I finally venture out I would have a friend with a trailor on standby. I have had problems with my bike before that mysteriously went away and never came back.
A very good friend had the same problem.....going down the road in the rain his bike all of a sudden died, and would not restart.....the guys he was riding with stopped about a half mile ahead under a overpass to get out of the rain. A car that was overloaded with rubber mats in the trunk and back seat slid out of control, and crashed directly into the three bikes parked in the shoulder under the overpass. Two bikers were killed outright (husband & wife) and another was badly hurt with multiple fractures. My friend had to have his bike trailered to the HD Dealer, and when he got there with the bike it started up.....this is after many trys to get it running while on the side of the road before the crash.
It seemed to me like it was just not his day to meet his maker......very strange is all I can say.

I am on my seventh Harley. All of them came with a factory installed Gnome.
That is the only explanationfor some of the problems that I have had with my bikes that have mysteriously come and gone.
It is one of the many things that make a Harley a Harley.

I've heard of a few similar incidents like yours...one of them was due to a loose "Bank Angle Sensor."
