I think my next project will be to paint the inside of the fairing and install hog tunes, maybe change the air temp meter to oil temp meter

Speaker Up-grade, Hidden Antenna, Oil Temp Gauge, Headlite Modulator come to mind.

The new lightbar with turn signals. Tough to wire up but looks great. [/align]

Well here is what i am working on today. I took a 5 prong relay and some wire and hooked my horn into my security system. A $6.00 upgrade. Did not need to fork over the cash to HD for their siren. When I activate the security with the key fob the horn will honk with the flashers. I will put a wire digram in the DYI thread when I get back in the house.

The bike is an '07 Ultra.

I've got the fairing apart to install new handlebars this winter. I'm also doing the "driving lights on all the time" mod and hiding the satellite radio antenna and wiring. I was considering doing the garage door opener mod, but I just hang my opener on my clutch cable and use the same on in the car as well. No big deal.

What else should I consider doing whilst the fairing is apart?
Add a pair of Polk Tweeters - GREAT improvement in sound!!

Make your own garage door opener wired to your high beams using a spare remote

Wire for XM or an Ipod while the fairing is off, saves removing it later...........

I'm not quite sure that I want to do anything to the sound system right now. Especially tweeters. It's got plenty high range as it is. Now a nice set of woofers............ Same with an oil temp gauge. I'll just relocate the air sensor, wtf.....

Lighting upgrades interest me. A modulator sounds like a good idea. What other lighting upgrades should I look at?

Where do I shop for a hidden antenna?

Thanks for the ideas!
