** What is the Best Seat for Tail Bone Pain Relief??
I realize seats are differnt for different people, but I am hoping there are some 6 foot \295lb boys out there that can give some suggestions. I get close to unbearable pain after about 100miles on a stock Electra Glide Seat. Has anyone with a similar problem found any relief? [:@] Thanks for the help!!
I bruised my tailbone last winter and it still hurts.[:@] Still put 11000 Painful miles on this summer.[8D]
I have a Tallboy seat, lots of cushion. The wife likes that one. It hurts more to use that one then it does to ride on the harder stock Street Glide seat. So get yourself a nice hard seat for the time being. Sad but true, at least for me.

I'm 6'4" was 285lbs - And any stock seat was a killer after 100 miles - Went to SUNDOWNER DEEP BUCKET on my '01 RHC & it worked out really well, did a couple of Iron Butts and it worked well.. Got a '07 RG and the first thing I did is install a SUNDOWNER DEEP BUCKET on it... Just never felt the same as it does on the RKC... Called Mike @ Corbin and he sent me a Dual Tour Seat (Mike & I go way - way back & have had his Corbin seats on many a Putt in the Past)... Well after I got use to the firmness of the Corbin Seat we took it on a 600 mile Putt to Hollister Rally in July... That seat was GREAT - So while @ the Hollister Rally - Called Mike up and told him how well the seat was working... So while we were there we went over to CORBIN's place and a couple of others in our group had Corbin's installed on there Tour Putt...
Corbin's - ya Love Em' - 0r ya just Hate Em' -
But Cush for the Tush is NOT always the answer more times then not - IT'S SUPPORT on the longer rides

you need a air zepplin, much wider on front for you so that it spreads your weight much better ( stock about 17" and the air zep around 22" wide ) plus has three air adjustment buttons for the driver and two for the passenger!
I did have a corbit duel tourer on my last bike (1100 V-star)
I loved it. But I found it on e-bay for 400.00 including a backrest.
If I find a deal like that again, I'm all over it.

All seats are differant and fit everybody differant. I can fix your seat to fit you and when I reshape the seat I change the angles of the seat to give better tail bone relief, add memory foam to it and you will have a all day seat. www.meancitycycles.com and yes I am a forum sponsor also

Gilbo is right on. The ROAD ZEPPLIN is the way to go. Not much will help at all on a Street Glide since the shocks are so short. They look cool but dont ride very well.
