There was a Canadian trailer company about a year or so ago that did a classic flame-out...complete with unfulfilled orders, stuff paid for and never delivered, etc....

Given the $$$ involved, you're not looking for a "cheap way out" - take a look at the Bushtec trailer line -http://bushtec.com/ . We've had one of their units now for almost 9 years, and it still works and looks great!

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A BUSHTEC, I HAVE ONE FOR SALE HERE IN HOUSTON! [Sorry about the yelling...] I "inherited" a Bushtec Quantum GL with only about 500 miles on it. Looks exactly like the one on the Bushtec website: http://www.bushtec.com/models.htmlIt is "Illusion Blue" and is a 2005 unit. Original price was $5500 and has all the extras -- topping out about $5900. I'm letting it go for $3495. AND I've got a deal with a custom shop just south of Houston where he will paint it to any color you want -- all you pay for is the material, and he will do the labor (don't ask, just let me know you want it...)

PM me if interested at todbetty@aol.com and I'll give you more details.

I got to agree with Texas Redneck. Bushtec is probably one the best trailers out there and they stand behind their products 110%. Heres another trailer thats worth a look.www.tailwindtrailers.com. Both are pricey but ya get what ya pay for.

Thanks to all for the input.

tphilips...if I were in the southern US I would consider yours but I would have to get it from Texas to Ontario and cross the border with it. I've not checked into importing a trailer into Canada.

I looked at the Bustec website for dealers anywhere near me. I don't even see any dealers in New York State....Buffalo area would be nice. I've sent Bustec a note asking if there are any dealers closer to me but no response from them yet.

I've got a 2000 Bushtec RoadStar trailer. Pulled it behind my 96 Yamaha Royal Star, 02 Dyna Superglide Sport and will be adding the receiver hitch and wiring harness to my 08 UC before spring. They aren't cheap, but it has been well worth the price to me. In my opinion there isn't another trailer that comes close and support from Bushtec is great.

Here ya go.....http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PIGGY...spagenameZWDVW
I used this trip on a 6107 mile trip and my buddys' got the same with a little over 20,000 miles with same bearings. For $860 delivered to your door, you cant beat it AND its torsion suspension and comes with extra bearing with race. Plenty of space, waterproof and 170 lbs.

The bike didvery littleto acknowledge the added weight, aside from the expected, slight increased braking distance and a lower gear up a 6% grade or more.

I went with the hidden hitch from this guy on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Harle...spagenameZWDVW
For function, price, and apparent quality this one wins the prize hands down!! Why would spend more?????????

In looking at many trailer websites I've only seen Bushtec offer the 16" wheels. There may be others but the vast majority only offer 12" wheels. TexasRedneck sees that as a definite dealbreaker. What do some of you other people feel about this issue????
