Default Harley Navigational Unit

Anybody use this? I have seen posts where people use differing GPS units, but have not seen this stock unit mentioned

Too much $$$ and disply screen way to small - Most Popular GPS would be Garmin ZUMO 550 - Ya get a lot more bang for the $$$

I've had one or another many times. How are you gonna find the right house of the gal you picked up at the local bike night? She'll usually be sober enough to shout out directions...

The stock GPS unit is a waste of money. The screen doesn't display a map- only turn directions. Plus you have to keep the Nav CD in the radio for it to work. What a waste...

Go with an aftermarket unit.

I had a Garmin Quest (essentially the same as the Harley Road Tech) and now use a Zumo 450. It is worth every penny, and you can save a lot of pennies if you shop around before you buy. The 450 doesnt have the Bluetooth capability, but I didnt really want to talk on the phone when I ride anyway.

I use the Garmin 530C for the bike, the car, and the RV.

I use a Garmin 330 with a Ram mount. The benefit is I can move the unit from bike to cage. The display on the HD GPS is way too small.
