I work for the company that came out of the old Star Glove and Leather Company in Ventura, California. I am working on a website for our company and would like to correspond with you.

That's a good post. Made your point convincingly, without disrespecting others. If I ever need another jacket, I'll check them out. I already have an excellent quality heavy jacket, but it would be nice to have a light one.
For those that have bodies that can fit off the rack - Fox leather is Very good... I am 5'6" and short arms... I have Never found a jacket or long sleeve shirt that fit me right... Started back riding in 96 and wanted a good leather jacket... tried all the HD jacket and Everyone had sleeves that went to my finger tips... Until I found Johnson leathers in SF http://www.johnsonleather.com/ Allen - store owner/manager (for the price of HD) made me jacket that fit me perfect and I still wear it today - since then he has made me a complete perferated Leather jacket for Hot days and again, perfect fit... He does mail order and has Great customer service.. If you have a hard time finding a jacket that FITS - give him a call - Tell him the Turlock Firefighter sent ya.. Of Course, if you MUST had HD on your jacket - you will have to put on a patch... For me Plain Leather works great.. Nothing feel better than a well made jacket that FITS...
