Default Turn signals

Can anyone help me? I bought front and rear bullet style turn signals for the front and rear of my 06 FHTPI. When I opened the box they both looked the same, both had two wires comming from the turn signals. The rear went on easy and plugged right in, the front is a different story. The stock fron has three wires, one ground and two other wires. the harness hasfour wires, one aux. light gray, one ground black, and blue and purple for the turn signals. Do I have two sets of rear lights or is there a way to splice and wire these to make them work?

The front is a three wire. The bulbs have two filaments one running light and one blinker. The rear is two wire and the bulbs have one filament.

If they are new HD parts from the dealer, did they put instructions in the box?
If you bought them used from someone, you can have your dealership run you a copy of the installation instructions.
Good luck.

Yes you have 2 sets of rears. The harness wires for the T/S are the Black, Violet and Blue. The light gray is for the passing lamps. If you use the 2 wire light they will only work as turn signals OR running lights depending on how you hook them up!

Agreed. you have 2 sets of rears for the reasons mentioned above. style 1156 is a single filament for the rear that only comes on as a turn signal... and style 1157 is the dual filament for the fronts so thatthe light can stay on for visibilityand then both filaments come on and go to 100% for the turn signal.
