I use gloves every time I ride the bike. Have five or six pair ranging from perforated leather to heavy GoreTex winter gloves. I'm just at ATGATT sort of guy: All The Gear All The Time. My goal is to avoid dying at the hands of the bike or other motorists.

Warm weather - HD fingerless padded palms with pull loops to get them off

Cold weather - full finger thinsulate deerskin gauntlet

Rainy weather -HD gore-tex nylon rain guantlet gloves over the fingerless (leather on the palms is best, raingloves are textile material and wont last long going down)

yes fingerless wont protect your fingers, but experience says they do help the palms out alot, dont ask me how i know this, and no i didnt get damage to my fingers. something on your hands is way better than nothing at all!

ORIGINAL: Bobberino

i have fingers on my hands. So i wear full finger. I try not wearing them, just feels funny.
Holy Moly Bobberino...Is that the San Andreas fault in your driveway? Nice looking scoot I might add...

Gerbing G3's below 35 degrees...

HD fingerless cause my hands sweat in summer: http://www.harley-davidson.com/mcm/m...bmLocale=en_US

HD GoreTex when cold: http://www.harley-davidson.com/mcm/m...bmLocale=en_USThese are great gloves, wish the gauntlet was longer but they keep my hands really warm above 35 or so, and are soft as a babys @$$!

Rain...don't know if'n they are waterproof though as I have not used them in the rain yet: http://www.harley-davidson.com/mcm/m...bmLocale=en_US

Yellow or greenrubber ones when wifey makes me do da dishes!

Aways wear full gloves, I have an extensive collection, I rotate them because my hands sweat like a ***** in church! I always carry an extra pair to rotate during the ride.

I wear these about 90% of the time. I've got pair in black and another in red.

Best I've found. They fit and feel great and unless its below 50 or over 90 I've always been comfortable.

I wear fingerless in the hot weather, full fingered leather ones when chilly and electrics for cold weather.

For those who "will only wear full fingered" Do you always wear a protective jacket? or maybe a short sleeve shirt? Or maybe just a long sleeve shirt and Jeans? Ohhhh wait so how many "full fingered" always wearers Always have a helmet on? Its either all the way or some of the way

just my .02 cents

Frank

I wear full fingered. But like anything else you do on a bike it depends on how much risk your willing to take.
Me, I want to finish my ride with all the skin God gave me. I see kid's riding crotch rockets with sneekers on, in shorts & T-shirts. Not my cup of tea, but there the cool ones.
