Hey Just thought I would attempt to post some pics of the new chrome front end on my RKC. Still gonna add stainless cables and lines when the budget recovers. I did the change myself so it took longer than the stealer but I saved some cash.

Look's great i hope to be doing the same to mine here in couple of weeks. How long did it take to do it yourself ??

 

It would definately be faster the second time around. LOL I'm sure it could be done in a day no prob.Your time may very. My biggest hold up was the nacell as I had never had it off before. Lots of little screws to drop. I had a buddy help with changing the lowers. New rotors and pads went easy after a small mix up with part numbers.[:@] Doh! Makes an amazing difference, doesn't it? I just did mine last week and it looks great.

 

Nice work! I am jealous, I had mine done at the dealer. Not quite up to speed on some of this stuff yet; but it's my first bike in 35 years so I'm learning. I had a blast putting the little things on, but a bit afraid to tackle some of the more complex stuff. I did do the air horn and that was a trip! What a great sound

Sending mine out for some engine work on Monday... hoping to get some more torque and hp... mostly low to mid range will do a 107 build... a bit overkill, but... Anyone have experience with the Bub #7's?
