The ABS system itself is not defective......the recall was issued for inspection and replacement, if neccessary,of the brake lines from rubbing and chaffing and some new stand off clips and clocking devices to eliminate the possibility of a problem in the future. These would be the metal lines that run down the front frame down tube and rear mastercylinder along the bottom of the frame to the rear AND the rubber lines around the rear wheel and ABS controller.
