I am in the market for new grips and i like the looks of the basic cushion grips with chrome on each end and foam inbetween. My question is, how well does the foam hold up? Is just the foam replaceable?

I had a set of HD's on my '97 Heritage Springer. They lasted 10 years, aboubt 25,000 miles. I know, I know, not many miles in 10 years but was raising a family.

Put the on my '07 SG and have about 18 months and 8,000 miles. I love them.

Thanks. They are both from Sturgis trips. The one in my sig is from riding the pigtails. It's hard to see but that is Mt. Rushmore in the background. My avatar is inSpearfish Canyon. I haven't been a lot of places on my bike, but the riding in the Black Hills is awesome!!
