what is everyone using for pushrods?
I am getting things gathered up for a Woods cam installation on my 05 Standard. I am deciding between the Crane time savers, S&S quickie, and Andrews EZ install pushrods. I can get the Andrews quite a bit cheaper than the other two brands. They all appear to be made out of the same grade of chromoly. Any thoughts? Thanks.
my springer has the V thunders and never had problem.my roadking has new set of jims aluminum pushrods, cant say good or bad yet.I would say as long as its good name brand you ll be ok
I was going to use the TW-6G Woods cams. It is a bolt-in cam that is supposed to have power from idle-5500 rpms. I thought this would be a simple upgrade while checking the tensioner pads, since I don't want to get real deep into the motor yet.
You can get the SE adjustable pushrods, with the o rings and covers for about $110 through Zanotti's. This is the route I think I am going... that way, I have the shorter tubes, which I read makes adjusting the pushrod much easier...
