Default stereo deck in 05 flhtcse2 ?

Isthe stereo deck in an 05 flhtcse2 any diiferent than the deck in the standard touring models? I was told that the 05 flhtcse2 had a higher output 4 channel stereo 35-40 rms with 4 oms. Can anyone confirm this and thetwo connectors on the back of the stereo deck, there is a black connector and grey connector?

Hi

Yes--the stock radio is an upgrade. I think the radio in your bike was the unit Radiosound proposed to HD, but lost out to the Harman unit we saw in 06-current

Anyways--the CVO radio is rated at 30 watts per channel and the speakers were 4 ohms. "Regular" radios were rated at 20 watts per channel and came with 8 ohmspeakers

I dont know what connectors your speaking about??????

Thanks Pez, I'll contact Radiosound about the connectors in the back, I was thinking about adding a new stereo deck w/ xm, and had heard the grey connector was the high output w/ 4 oms and the black connector was for the the low output 8 oms and handle bar controls. A little confusing. If the stereo on the cvo's has more power maybe all I need are some speakers. Thanks for your response.
