Default Opinion: After Market Stereo for '05 RG

I am researching the best place to purchase an aftermarket stereo for my '05 RG, and would appreciate suggestions from you folks!

I have been to Biketronics and Hawk Wired, but would like to see a few more options. I think both Sony and Pioneer are the two preferred decks. Any other thoughts?

Thanks,
Kahuna

Are you wanting a CD stereo or an MP3 or Ipod driven Stereo. I just purchased an MP3 driven stereo from Uniq cycle sounds: http://www.uniqcycle.com/. It came with 2 speakers, a 150 watt amp that I mounted under the seat and all the wiring and instructions on how to hook it up. I looked for steroes for my '05 roadking and I didn't like the bulky look that everybody was selling out there. I seen these guys in Longmont and a swap meet and let me tell you, the sound is freaking awesome. I mounted the speakers to my handle bars and can listen to the tunes going down the highway at 70 -75 mph no problem. I Purchaced the low profile speakers and didn't really like the sound so I called them and I replaced them with the classics. Way better sound.
Oh, and you can't beat the price either. I paid $247.00 for the system and $100.00 for my MP3 player. which has an FM radio on it too.

you might want to try this link
back in 2003 the hd900 was selling for $280
am/fm weatherband then you could add in other items if you wanted.
Remote mount radio with display and controls bar mounted.
Audiovox, clarion etc.
Beats the hell out of HD pricing

http://www.sierra-mc.com/

and here
http://www.sierra-mc.com/products.asp?cat=97
This shows the audiovox hd900 modular
They are a little sketchy on radio / product details
