stereo volume
Since I lost my cd player & went to a mp3 for music I seem to have
less volume.Any suggestions to get some sound back without spending
a lot of money? I'm thinking of adding a Hogtunes tweeter pod to see
if it cleans things up .I already have Hogtunes speakers. I think my
speakers are still good.

Actually what I was meaning is that when I use my ipod, I have to turn the volume on the ipod almost to full volume and use much more volume on the bikes stereo to be anywhere close to what the radio or CD volume is. Because of that, I seldom use the ipod.
You'll get some variation in volume based on recording levels of the iPod vs CD and input levels iPod vs radio stations. Really no way around that. That being said, there should not be such a difference in volume levels to make the iPod unusable. Three factors that need to be checked. iPod setting, aux connector, and cable. Something is wrong somewhere.
Have the same problem when I hook up my Inno for listening to XM while on the road.
Picked up a small headphone amp and plugged the Inno into it then to the Aux port.
Works pretty good.

Picked this one up from Ebay for around $10.00 took awhile to get it but I'm happy with it so far.
