Awe crap, did I buy the wrong lugage rack?
I needed a support for my T-bag expandible so I bought the rack that attaches right to the passenger backrest. This way I when I ride alone I can take all of it off. I just got it from Zanottis and it has a sticker on in that says warning, not to put more than 10 pounds it. Im thinking it sure would of been nice to see this weight warning in the HD cataloug. Anyways, I guess I will have to keep the T-bag restricted to just clothing, nothing more. The 50 pounds of wifes cosmetics will have to go into the hard bag. Has anyboby used this rack before?

My understanding is that the load limit does not pertain to how much weight the rack can take. It has more to do with the effect of the weight, at the location of the rack, on the handling of the bike. HD is covering their backsides with this one. I have loaded mine beyond the limit with no problems. Heck I have seen a guy going down the highway with a quarter sheet of plywood bolted to his rack with a barbeque grill, tent, cooler, a suitcase and whatever else. I think the idea is to use some common sense with the load and adjust your riding accordingly.
