I need a replacement battery for my 06 Road Glide and before I just run up to HD... thought I'd ask for some suggestions... any thoughts on other suppliers etc ? Cross reference part #s? Discount Auto Parts and the like suppliers or ?

I'd stay with the HD brand. They haven't given me any problems if you trickle charge them....My .02....

6 yrs on mine. i'd stay with hd on this one.

 

I have has good luck with the HD sealed battery's.

 

Just bought mine yesterday from my stealer for 109.00. Thought about switching up but the last one was good to me.

 

I can't believe that you already need a battery on an 06. Well actually I do believe you, however,I had two Harley AGM batteries last about 7 years each. I would replace with an HD battery.

DEKA makes the AGM batteries for H-D. The locally owned parts house a couple of blocks away from me stocks them for way less than H-D gets for them.

 

I will probably stick to the HD as well when its time. I have heard good things about Odyssey but they are pricey.
