Default HD price increases

FYI.....

Oil, tires, and batteries will incur price increases effective May 9, 2008. A list detailing the affected part numbers including wholesale pricing and suggested retail pricing will be available May 9 on h-dnet.com at: Department/Parts & Accessories/Catalogs & Literature/Oil, Tires, and Batteries Price List.

Look for msrps to go a good bit higher for 2009 models. Raw materials prices are up and the moco is just going to pass it along. The production cut should also start to thin out the dealer inventories also which should make it easier for HD to raise prices.

Anything that requires petroleum distillates in their make up or manufacturing process is going to increase in cost.
