Has anyone used black colored wax to help hide slight scratches in the paint (vivid black)? Who sells this?
I've used it. It is no more effective than any other wax. You are better off having someone who knows how polish the defects out and then use a quality wax. Black just shows everything. A small price to pay for having the most badass color.
the only thing the colored waxes are good for are dyeing your skin while waxing. They don't work any better. Buy a quality wax like Griot's, 3m, mequire's, Poorboys, , zanio, ect. for light scuffs some quality compound I use poorboy's lazer buff, a foam pad, and buffer will get most anything out that you can't feel when you run you fingernail over it.
If you can buy it at walmart it's usally not the good stuff
