Default Question about performance machine grips

I am looking for new grips for my ride and I figured I could look other places rather the the MOCO grips. I came across these grips from performance machine and have read and heard so rave reviews. looked at dealers and no one carries them to feel them. I can get the from warehouse direct for $89.99. They are the performance machine renthal grips. What is renthal? Just looking for some reviews. Thanks!

Nick

Renthal is the makers of motocross grips.
Some of the finest rubber made for grips.

I have a set of the PM grips in the garage.
Going on the scoot when I get everything back from paint.
Look good, soft rubber, sticky...I think they're excellent grips.

Sticky in a odd way like this isnt right or sticky as you had grips the rubber nicely? If someone were to have sweaty hands while riding would these grips become slippry or would they still hold?

I have these grips on my FXR. They are the best grips out there, period ! Always sticky, feel good in your hand, just the right size.

As stated, it's the same rubber that MX grips are made of. Those guys hands stay sweaty while X'ing.
I used Renthal grips back in my X'ing days...awesome grips!

Sticky, as in..holding on. No sweaty hand slippage.
No, the sticky rubber will not turn your hands black either.

For the money VS. MOCO grips...you CANT go wrong.

Tell you what...
Order the grips, in chrome ends.
If you don't like them...PM me.
I'll buy 'em off you.

cool like I said there have been a ton of positive reviews about them and to some they arent very dressy and have little chrome if you want that look the black ones are very cool but comfort matters more in this situation so I think I will take the plung on them and go ahead and get them. Another question for the people who have them. I see they sell replacement rubbers for them. Do they wear out fast or are they just that good that they expect people to just replace the rubber instead of the grips. If they wear out in a month I may rethink!

I ran 1 set on my CR125 for 3 years.
The rubber doesn't wear out, it dries out.
But that takes awhile.

ok cool I will go ahead an order a set and see how they are one last question it seems that the HD grips have a little bit of play when sliding them on the bars. They meet no resistance and seems to transfer some the the vibrations for the bars through the grips and into the fingers. Do these fit snugly on the bars and kill vibrations like the kuryakyn iso grips? Thanks for all the answers BadPiggy! You have been a great help!

I can only assume they'll reduce/eliminate vibration.
I haven't used my grips for the scoot, yet.

I'm only giving insight to my experience with them while using them on a MX bike., which was an awesome experience.

When I saw that PM came out with these, I rushed to the phone to order mine.
That's how confident I am in the Renthal rubber!
