Will a 21 inch front wheel off a softail or wide glide fit on an electra glide std.? I have spoke wheels already so I thought about trying it. Has anyone done this?
I don't think it'll work.
Not 100% positive..but pretty sure, it won't.
The 21" you mention is a 2.15 width wheel...I do believe.
I think you'll have caliper/rotor issues.
Not too mention putting a wheel that skinny on a bagger is BEGGING for an accident!
The frontends on baggers are too heavy to run that narrow wheel.
Nope it wont work, Oh wait yes it will I had one on my Road King. I reused the stock hub and laced the 21 to it. NO SPACING ISSUES WHAT SO EVER! That being said it is a small tire for a big bike so you must ride appropriately! You have more brake than tire traction. Sorry this is the best picture I have. DO NOT run the softail or wide glide hub with only one brake, that is begging for an accident!!!!
