What about your cornering ability? I scrape the boards on my SG to much as is. Like the lower look though.

the SG is lowered 1" in the backfrom the factory already. i lowered the front on mine 1" and looks good IMO. lowering a bike lowers the center of gravity and helps manuvering the bike around....really makes a big difference.

Lucky,

How does your bike ride after Bitchen Baggers cut down your shocks.
I was gonna send them a pair from my RKC.
I am trying to get this bike lower but I still need it to ride real plush.
( Back is junk ).

Thanks

I recently did the same and added heavy oil. I agree, the bike handles a lot betterand I scrape the boardsless. Huge difference.

Do the Road 6 Customs lowering blocks give you top and bottom adapters or just the lower ones?

I purchased the lowering kit off of ebay for my 08 Ultra. It works well for the solo rider but the ride changed with 2 up. I intend to sell mine and go with the different shocks and front end. maybe a seat mod too.

I used the Bikersdelite lowering kit off of Ebay. It is a little more money but it has three settings instead of just two. On the center setting, it lowered mine 1 3/4'. It it very well made.

Yep. That is the kit I purchased. Gave $66 plu 5 for shipping. Changed my ride when riding 2 up so I am selling for $65 shipped to your door in the lower 48 states.

Jimmy,
What do you mean by it changed your ride? I ride two up and cannot tell any difference at all.

We bottom'd out 4 times on an 80 mile trip.I have 30 lbs of air in the shocks and have it lowered 1". I had it lowered to the second setting (2") and I bottomed out on a big bump. With just me by myself it feels great. My wife is not that big (130-140) but it definitly rides different.
