I found a shop that cut down a pair of stock air shocks off a 05' FLHC to 11" which I installed on my 08' SG and then I lowered the front 1". Anyone thinking about slammin their ride should check into this. Check out the web (Bitchin Baggers) Ron, the owner did me right. The lower center made the ride way better than stock.
What did that cost you?.....I went with the lowering plates off ebay for $55.00, easy install 20 min....not trying to hijack your thread....just wondering about cost. nice lookin ride!
I'm in the same process, lower my ride, and finding it hard to make a good choice. I first tried the blocks from Road 6 Customs, their block has 2 settings, a 1.25 and 2.25 drop. I bottomed out on the 2.25 setting, even with 20 lbs of air in the shocks, and at 1.25 setting, with 5 lbs air, I don't. But, I don't sit flat-footed any more either. At 5'8", I'm looking for a little more flat-footedness (sp?), so I'm in search of other alternatives!

Do you have before and after pictures that you could post? Is it really a 20 min install job? What about the adjustments? How long do they take to make?
