Default riding position

Looking at the Mustang ultra touring for my Electra Glide.
Will it change my seating position much, and if it does in what
direction? I have had a Mustang seat before on my VTX & found
it to be real comfortable.I also want it to be good for the ol' lady.
We rode 350 mi. yesterday & got pretty tired & butt sore.We
decided we had to have a new seat.
That was also my 1st two-up trip with my new Bub 7 slipons,
K&N filter & V&H fuelpak. My mileage shot way up over the stock
setup. The ol' lady also commented on how much better the bike
sounded & seemed to run better.Got to get her a better seat, especially
since I brought up the subject of new wheels yesterday.A new seat
would make changing to new wheels a lot easier.

Default RE: riding position

I just installed the Mustang 75449 seat on my 06 EGS and I like it more each time I ride.
The seat was VERY firm for the first 3-400 miles and is now breaking in a bit more.
The position is about the same setback as stock , but because of the density of the Mustang foam , rides about 1" higher than stock.
The nose is narrower , but the seat puts you back into its "pocket" as you ride.
I have to kinda "scootch forward" at a stoplight to get to the front of the seat and get my feet down farther for the stop.
All in all , I'm pretty happy with it for comfort and build quality.
I don't feel like I'm settling down into the seat as the day goes on and miles go by.
The wife says the rear half is a bit firm , but not uncomfortable , and it seems as though our butts don't get as warm over time as the stock seat did.
The wind gets under the seat more than the stock seat did because of the seat pan design.
I'm using the Harley rider backrest and it seems to be easier to mount and remove than with the stock seat also.
