gmoney220,tuners right a/f should be 13-14,you should be able to correct this by richening your fuel mix on your pclll, you can use the mid and high range buttons and move the ligh up 1 bar or open map file and change the values in the throttle positions that are high.save that map and then reinstall the new map into your pc

Just so everyone knows..............

higher the AFR number the leaner the mix it
lower the AFR number the richer the mix is

it is an Air to Fuel ratio

If his AFR is around 11-12 like it shows in his chart, he is running super rich. He needs to have it leaned out to gain some power/milage.

gmoney220, sorry about that, move the light down for a leaner mixture,go 1 bar at a time. after a long run or after 100 mi. or so pull the plugs, if they look black or sooty, move the bar down another one,you want a light tan color on the plugs.

Dynoed my bike after the cam install. Not to happy. Only 72.26hp & 81.52tq. The dealer will not adjust anymore. Says that is the best he can do. Spoke to the service manager also, no help. Will go to another dealer on Tue for a better job. Spoke to the tech from second dealer and says my afr should be about 13 and that I should be getting about "80hp & 90 tq".

What are the details of your 95" headquarters low comp kit?

What cams? What compression? What heads?

Do you have a dyno sheet?

Thanks,

Steve

hey steve sent ya an email, for some reason i cant upload any pix here and the only sheet i have is from when i had hooker slip-ons which shows 90hp and 96ft/lbs and an ugly dip between 2000 and 3000 rpm. the pro-pipe cured that. i think it was 9.5:1 and cams were 510s? been while the heads were headquartes flowed....whatever was included in the kit, i basically just went with what they reccomended and it worked out well for me!
