will they work? (wheels)
They are different but I think if you just changed out the spacers it shoud work. I know on my Softail I changed the front wheel to a 80 twisted spoke and they weren't seald bearing's and all I did was change out the spacers and it worked fine. I don't know why the RK wheels would be any different unless it has something to do with the rear pully being a different size. I would think as long as they have the same axle size all you need to do is buy a set of spacers for 2002 model and they would work fine.
I don't think they'll work on either end. In 2000 they did all go to sealed bearings and you would have to swap hubs, but they are 1 piece in harley wheels. I believe the rear went from a 3/4" axle in 2001 to a 1" axle in 2002. Hope this helps.
