My heated grips on my UC failed yesterday.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; Installed 3/22/2008, not quite 90 days.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; The dealer installed them.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; Any fuses to check or are they "toast"?&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; Covered under warranty but I don't want a series of 85 day wonders.

 

I've never heard one good thing about heated grips. They all seem to crap out soon after they're installed. I'd try to get my money back.

 

Last year I had the same thing happen to me. It turned out that durng installation they clamped down the switch gear housing too tight and cut a wire. The vibration finally finished the job. They were toast and changed under warranty. So far (knock on wood), so good.

 

My dealer wouldn't sell me heated grips on my 08 EGC because of the failure rate.
