Angry Need help with Howard's Hog Horn install

I got the Howard's Horns this week and finally got around to installing them last night.. I had to drill out the hole on the cowbell hanger because the bolts that came with the horn were too big. Then, I had to rummage through my parts bin to find a 5/16 nut because they shorted me one. And now I can't figure out how to run the wiring. They give you a rough schematic and some vague instructions for wiring, and then recommend you have the wiring done by a "certified mechanic". Sounds like liability wiggle to me. So, bottom line, my question is......Can anyone please walk me through the wiring of the relay for the horn on an Ultra Classic?

What questions do you have. The relay diagram seems to explain it, but if you pm me I will try to answer them. It shows the negative off the compressor and 85 on relay both go to negative on battery. The positive on compressor goes to 87 on relay. 30 on relay to positive post on battery. On 86, you hook the positive stock horn wire here. Hope that helps.

I had the same issues with the horn. After some backyard engineering finnaly got it on and working, but the sound was a major disappointment. I could whistle louder. So I took it off and it now sits with all the other "cant miss" parts in my garage.,

Hmmmm...put a set on my Road King AND my Heritage Springer. Great performance, instructions seemed to be pretty straightforward...

I've heard them on other bikes, sounded like a semi. Maybe yours weren't installed correctly.
