Can the baffles be removed from Screamin' Eagle touring mufflers?

I put my friends S/E slip ons on my 08 Ultra. Then we drilled 4 1/2 inch holes in each baffle plate. Plenty loud for me and a nice deep throaty sound to them. Cost me a round of golf
