Default Tire balance weights

I had my SG on the lift today and was looking it over and I noticed the front rim has 8 one/quarter ounce weights on it.

I check the back and there were none.

My question does the MoCo only balance the front tire at the factory?
Did your bike come with any weights on the rear?

Maybe My back didn't need them and was in balance. Just curious if any one has weights on the rear from the factory.

Thanks

Both tires are balanced. You just might have one of the rare ones where the balance is correct. Don't see it happen often, but have seen it. If you are not experiencing a vibration in the 55 to 70 mph range that is not there at other speeds, dont worry about it.

I might just look into the beads when I need new tires. They are getting good reviews.

Can you use the beads with inner tubes?

Thanks for the replies!

Those beads are intriguing. Question for the folks that use them...Do they work as advertised?

Yes they seem to work as advertised. This is actually a time proven method of balancing, just a new spin on it. Same idea as liquid engine balancers etc, only they DynaBeads use small ceramic *****, or if you're the techy type spheres. I like the idea of constantly balancing as the tire wears. Can't get that with a dumb piece of lead.
