Default 1946 Indian

Here's a few shots a 1946 Indian in our shop to be detailed. Sorry for the crappy pics from my phone. It only has 291 miles on it.

291 MILES! Original! WOW. Where did it come from?
As much as I LOVE my HD. My first true love was a '47 Indian Chief. You just never get over your first love........ sigh. Should have sold the wife not the bike dammit!

Oh man, that's a work of art. What I want to know is....how come it never got ridden? I'm assuming that when you say 291 miles, that means original miles?

I did not see the guy, but the service writer said he was from Boston and that he claimed that it was a former CEO of the original Indian Company (not the CEO that went to jail, etc.) He also had a 2003 Indian at the shop that he had built special for his wife. When I go back in on Monday I wanna grab the guys name and google it.

Looks a lot like the 1946 Indian I had in the early 80s. Mine had the big Indian headress decal on the tank instead of the chrome badge. Thanks for showing it. Brings back some great memories.

Those are crappy pics from your phone. Oh wait, you already said that. Sweet bike. I saw a new one on the road today. I hope they can make it also in these economic times.
