Question Heat Deflectors

With a brisk 37 degree ride into work this morning, I was wondering if taking the heat deflectors off an '09 will make much difference? I'm sure it will at the red lights, but going down the road? Anybody done this yet?

Don't think it will make a big difference well moving, I vote for heated gear at leas jacket liner and gloves.

I wouldn't think so at 37. Not going to take mine off, I'm pretty lazy.

Too much heat, not enough heat. I thing HD should manufacture a Northern and a Southern version, kinda like Ca has their own version.

Only 37 degrees? Heck, that ain't cold.

Just for kicks, I rode a mile once when the outside temperature was -20 degrees.

Now, that's cold!!!!

Stop looking between your legs so much! Pervert! j/k

I have been looking to add the deflectors for awhile now. Considering I live on the sun already, anything to deflect the heat from my legs is a good thing.....

Should be easy enough to remove and see if you can notice a difference.

I'm betting you won't notice a difference while moving. Before I put on my RJS Originals, I never felt heat while moving on my '07 (and I think the left side 07's is hotter than the 09's). But at a stop you might be able to tell they are off. I sure can on my 07 with stock headers and cross-over (at least in the summer months).
