Here's another one from Head-Quarters website which includes their ignition module:

http://www.head-quarters-usa.com/efitocarb.pdf

Just scroll down the page to the MMI EFI to carb conversion parts list.

Good luck with your project.

I am in the middle of doing this on my custom that was running a stock motor and fuel injection out of a 98 flhtci...about ready to fire it up...I bought a used ignition, coil and carb of of a 98 fatboy on ebay and was wondering if the ignition is plug and play or are there adjustments(timing...rotor cup?) that I need to make before I fire it up...any help will be greatly appreciated.

Bee,
I put a Power Commander on a year ago. The problem existed prior and remains after PC. The guy in Reno is Chaz Oneill, he has a website and is undoubtedly the best Performance Engineer in the Reno area.

some common issues with MM efi that throw things off are:
1-cam position sensor, you can sometimes see it leaking some goo thru the hole on bottom of cone...hard starts, sometimes a check engine, burps every once in a while during start-up
2-engine temp. sensor, inside front cylinder chimney...eratic idle and surges
*both are do it yourself with common tools and about 2 hours

cam position instructions and engine temp. sensor instructions are available thru search if you decide to stay MM efi.
* if you have a power commander on the bike, the items above.. if out of range can cause power commander to malfunction do to incorrect signals..
if bike is "stock" other than air cleaner and pipes the MM should be fine.

I bought the Screamin Eagle ignition module and it plugged into the harness and used my stock ignition plate. I did not have to change anything else on the bike.

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones who has had no problems with MM, other than sensors. It is not a complicated system, I don't know why they become unfixable. I can understand the advantages of the Delphi for performance upgrades.

Good luck on your conversion.
