Black Upper Fork Cans
When I took delivery of my bike it was under dazzling, make anything look good showroom lights...but when I got the bike home and in the sunny driveway a few things were noticed.
Specifically, the black fork cans...they were a different shade of black that the fork lowers and when the sun hit them just right...there were lots of horizontal scratches all over them.
The color difference was an issue right away and I had the dealer order new ones under warranty. 2 months later (that's another story), the new ones show up. So we take them outta the packaging, and head outside the dealer to see them in the sun...
Ughh...same type scratches, yet the color is right. Under any artificial light they look fine, but in the sun they looked bad. So..I'm sending them off, dealer expense, to powdercoat them instead of how Moco does it, which looks like simple paint with little or no clear.
So, be aware and look that stuff over in the sun..
