When my road king gets up to temp the engin sounds like theres nut loose in it. Worse at dottem of next gear.

 

All Harleys have some valve train noise - I think that's built-in from the factory! It's part of the aura of a Harley.

Seriously, my RKC and my SG both had a lot of chatter once the oil warmed up some. If it's that noisy you may want to visit your dealer to settle your mind about it.
