Looking for 103 Stage 2 Owner Feedback

I'm in the group having hard starting problems and I would say get it in writing about not needing the CR's. (Check my post from the weekend about 103's hard starting.) I'm still waiting to hear if they are finally going to put them in my bike and of course they don't want to do after the fact, something about 8 hrs labour to re and re the heads. It's not that expensive when the heads are off and if I could do it over I'd get them. What bugs me is I wasn't even offered the option when I had the kit installed.

I did the Stage II kit after putting 2000 miles on my 2007 RK. The change in the engine was amazing. I felt like the stock engine was pretty weak between 1800 and 2400 rpm. Shifting into 6th gear below 60-65 mph felt like it was lugging. Always had to downshift when below 2200rpm. The 103 kit with 255 cams changed the low end of the power curve down to about 1800 rpm. I am using the V&H FuelPak and am very happy with the performance. No hard starting, no decel popping, no problems at all. She pulls like a freight train...way stronger than stock!
I am sure that you could get more hp with different cams but I doubt you could get much more torque. Based on previous scooter builds, I am guessing I am running around 90hp and 100-105 ft lbs of torque. Due to the FuelPak, I didn't have to pay for any dyno time.
