Default mud flap

has anyone fitted a mudflap tothe rear on thier FLHTC ??? ordered the 59230-88 rear flap but see in the directions that it says (without rear bumper) anyone?

I made myself 1 from a piece of truck flap

Yes, Got fed up with the skunk line on the back of the bike. The flap was initially designed for a RK I think but it had no specific model designation on it, just HD. Cannot remember exactly how I did it but I remember using the mounting bolts for the bumper drilling some new holes in the flap. It was not that difficult after I sat and stared at it for about 5 mins. Did not have to take the wheel off. It now looks as though it was designed for the application. If interested I will put my snowsuit on tomorrow and try to see just how I did it.

i do appreciate the offer but please dont lay in the snow fer me! if i know it can be done then i'll take things apart and figure it out. at the same time i wont turn my nose up at any tips that come along. REAL tired of that pile of sand that ends up on top of that bumper.
