Default Non Matching EGC Fenders - Opinions

I posted new pictures of the modes I made on page 2.
I've got my EGC set up for quick change to solo. It bugs me that HD skimped on painting the rear fender and side covers. I'm getting the side cover bottoms (yes I know the Utra's are painted) and hinges painted to match the saddlebags but I'm on the fence with the back fender, I was going to put a lowered clean fender on the front and paint it solid to match the back but OL convinced me to keep the classic look. I then was going to do a clean lowered two tone front, else paint the black pearl on the rear. Anyone done either or on a two-tone? I was going to lower my stock ff with the Todd Holland set up but the more I look at it I like the full wheel effect, again anyone have a two-tone EGC ff lowered? I guess the winter wish list keeps growing so I need spring to get here soon so I can ride and not stay up nights thinking of ways to spend $$. Any opinions which way would look better?

FLHX or Street Stalker clean front fender (2-tone)
FLHX rear fender set-up (2-tone)
Painted inner fairing (2-tone)
Optional chrome inner primary
Dump the following: tacky visors, stock rims, floorboards, shiftpegs & tank decals!

Stick with your clean look. Paint and stripe side cover bottoms, match the front fender to the back and lose the bottom front fender trim, Powercoat the saddlebag latches red, and paint the inner fairing to match the black accents. Less can be more.

How did you do that, paint fender and side covers? My side covers and sadlebag latches are at the painter. The inner fairing matches pretty well so I'm going spend for bullet turn signals on front and saddlebag filler strip w led turn signals on the back. Can you put a black pear strip on my rear fender? I think I'm going that way this year to keep some of the classic look. I don't have unlimited $$. Next winter wheels, etc. Thanks

Thanks for your input. I had the chrome black strip floorboards on my 92 and felt they weren't as comfortable as stock. Also had the chrome inner primary but trying to keep some black contrast. I'm going to check w painter on cost of removing tank decal. Wheels next year. I put on 13-15k miles a year so I use the heel shifter alot but maybe a custom one would help.

I agree and saw that before but afraid to find out how much my painter would charge. Would your guy do another and how much?

I'd paint the side covers and the fender to match, it would be a one of a kind, most people wouldn't notice the differance but the ones that do notice are the ones you would want to talk with.

That's what I was afraid off, maybe in the future.
Thanks.
