Default Passengar Pegs Keep

falling while I ride... WTF! This is a recent development, probably within the past 2 weeks. Anyone else have this annoying experience, and find a way to rememdy it? As Im writing this... I think they may have sprayed something on the bike to clean it after having the Light Friction Cluth ramps and spring installed...

There are shims that are supposed to be inserted with the male end of the footpeg. Sounds like either yours are not installed or need to be replaced. I had the same problem on my 07 night train and ended up have to use 2 shims in each peg. It was a royal pain in the *** and would not recommend that (grinding required). The shims supposed to be curved a bit to keep pressure on the peg...yours are probably straight. Maybe try and bend them slightly more to provide more pressure.

Since you're going to be taking them off to mess with them, just put some floorboards on instead for your passenger's comfort.

Thanks, that would seem to be the only solution... Ill take them apart, clean off anything that might have been sprayed in there and bend those little suckers....

Sounds like the little shims are missing. Looks like a thin bent washer. You change out your pegs recently?

+1 on the bent metal shim being missing. Nothing else really keeps those puppies up there.

Nah...they're not going to just fall out. But they do get tired and straighten out a bit after a while. just bend'em back a bit or get new ones...they are el-cheapo at HD.
