Overpriced! + 1 on painting the inner fairing to match the color of your bike. Had mine done for less than $300. What are they going to do with your original inner fairing? If you decide to have the stealership do it, make sure you get your inner fairing back from them and sell it on ebay to recover some of your expense. Also, be sure you get the box (and packaging) from them for shipping.

My bike is Vivid black, put some Pig Spit on the inner fairing and it's good to go. You can do a lot for 500 other than having the same color inner fairing that shines a little more.
