So do you guys think Glencoe would be a place I would like to camp? I want to go for the riding, can't drink (contracted Hep C) in the Army. I like to camp though and still like the booty even though I'm considered a "Geezer" now (58). What do you think. better places for my age group. Still enjoy a party though, got enough pain meds to simulate the drinking part
everything you bring must be loaded up on the scoot every day or it will be gone. extremely wild at night dont expect much sleep before 3 am. if thats fine with you the 10 day arm band gets you in and out
Thnaks for the info man, sounds like to much extra work for me. Think maybe I'll go with my first two choices Hog Heaven or Shade valley. Can always go in a see the chaos for awhile. I really want to just do a lot of riding.
last time we went to sturgis we stayed at rush-no-more, 5 miles south from town good facilities as they are a year-round campground and quiet at night. check em out.
never meant to imply there would be problems.
my point would be if there were 10,000 people roaming a campsite would you leave your gear in a tent? if you have a camper it may be better but still bands crankin at 2 am and the craziness.
i rented a house in lead split it with friends and had the time of our lives!
Wife and I stay at Wyatt's in Belle Fourche each year. We love it. Just far enough out of town that you can get some rest. Takes about 15 minutes to get into Sturgis. Kent and Marta are nice people and honest. You can find the site online and you'll need to prepay (as is the case most everywhere.)
