Either would be good.

Are those the 14's in your sig pic with you and your lady on the bike? How tall are you, if you don't mind me asking?

I just sat on the bike and put my hands where I want them to be, that comes to about 4-6 inches above my RK high bars I have on now. With my 17" Memphis shades that seems to be about 14" apes.

Thanks for the pics guys!

In my sig pic those are RK high bars not 14". Angle of picture makes them look shoulder height but they weren't. New chubbys 14s are at shoulder, maybe slightly above, depending how tilted. I'm 6'0". Your measurements were about the same as I figured before I bought the chubbys, thats why I decided on the 572s.

That's what I'm running right now.

Now I'm running into a new issue I need to clear up. Will I be able to run 14's with a detachable fairing? I sent off emails to 3 fairing manunfacturers and so far recieved a reply back from one(Wide-Open customs) that if I run apes lined up with the forks I'll be fine, but if they are rocked forward then no.

I need to hear from people who are running apes with a detach. fairing and what issues they've dealt with. Anyone?

Have 16" on mine.Bars are positioned so they barely clear the windshield.I'll keep it that way till the summer when the shield will stay off then they'll go forward some.

Thanks for those pics. I plan on eventually getting a detachable fairing and I wonder how apes factor in with them. Bagger apes may look odd on a RK........
