The best thing to do would be to find a 06 bike that was carbed, and to raid the harness and such from it. Then it would be a matter of buying the necessary parts.

Otherwise, it might end up being a hack job and not run right. If you have had it tuned twice by the same tuner and they haven't gotten it right, I would be requesting a refund and finding another tuner.

I would find another tuner, before the change. Personally, I am a carb guy that is finding EFI to be a better solution. The learning curve sucks though. I am working around it and learning the system. A lot more can be chages and set up than a carb. BTW I cam from a Mikuni HSR 42, a great carb.

Take it to IndyWest Harley in Plainfield Indiana, they did a great job on my bike. It really seems like they know what they are doing. They take pride in customer satisfaction and will do almost anything to make sure you are satisfied. Great group to deal with.

Take it to Wabash HD in Terra Haute and request that Scott Hunter do the tune. You will throw rocks at any carb after he is done tuning your bike.

Tuning an injected bike can be extremely frustrating. But once you learn how to do it yourself or find a great tuner, you will not have the desire to jump backwards.

Default Efi

Don't give up on the EFI you just need to find a reputable shop to set it up and it should be fine.
