Picking up new Ultra tomorrow
My first "New" bike in a long, long time, I just hope it lives up to the hype. The bike is vivid black, with security and ABS. Only thing I'm adding right now is a drivers back rest. I'm sure I'll be asking some of the same ol' questions about mufflers, fuel paks and air cleaners, just remember I'm new to the Harley EFI systems, so just be patient with me.

Make sure your salesperson goes over ALL of the items on the bike, such as:
>"parade mode" (cuts rear-cyl out temporarily)
>Radio operation
>Where to add/remove air for the rear shocks
>abs light flashing (stays that way til you go faster than 3mph, per the owners manual)
just to name a few!!!
Enjoy the new bike; I'm sure you will have miles of smiles in the near future.

KSRIder, Congrats, Since you had to wait to get one in I know you can't wait any longer. I had pretty much decided what I wanted, I just wasn't sure about the color. I stopped in at one of the local dealerships on the way home Wednesday to see what colors they had and the black just called my name. I had a number in mind that I was willing to pay, the salesman came back with a pretty good number, still higher than I wanted to pay, I told him what my number was and 30 minutes later I owned a new bike (at my number). I wasn't able to pick it up Thursday and the weather is iffy today, so I'll be picking it up tomorrow. I can't wait.
