My dealer back in Indiana gets them in almost every week. A friend picked me up a set last week, they keep them on the shef all the time. No special order.

While the dealers have been getting them in (as mine has also) they have now run out at the Franklin Distribution Center and therefore say not available. I'm sure that they are being redesigned to cover the chopped tour paks and will be back with an -08A pn#. These are a hot item and aren't going to go away.....kinda like the FLTR being discontinued in 2010. It's coming back as an Ultra Glide.

I think it's a rather "safe" bet as well.

Just curious: Has anyone called HD to get the real scoop on the hinges? Mine seem to be just fine.

Post problem hinges

Had mine for a little over a month and no problems as of yet. The only thing I've noticed is that they do offset the lid to the left by approx 1/32". Love the looks though

No problems here either after a thousand miles riding around the pothole filled streets of the suburbs of Cleveland!
