Default Passenger seat/pillion width vs. comfort?

My wife is a small framed model while I'm a wide framed model. Her chief complaint is having to spread her legs too far to fit around me causing discomfort while riding. I'm hoping to go with a Mustang seat and wanted your first hand (via your passenger) experience with seat width vs. comfort.

The question: Will the wider seat be more comfortable since it will support her legs better or will it cause her to have to spread her legs farther apart?

from the kids(18 y/o daughter) point of view here...Sitting back more helps and you may need to bring your passenger pegs/boards up to the first pin. If your running a tourpak..bring it back with a kit from Kuryakyn...Of coarse my kids moved out and the wife rides her own so I'm running solo now but it made sense to me...Just my$.02

I don't think you can go wrong with anything from Mustang. I have found for me the
15" solo to be the most comfortable, and the wide pillion for the passenger as it will support more and will not spread either rider or passenger legs to the point of discomfort.
Both are narrower at the front than stock seats. By the way I have a 13.5" rear solo with chrome studs for an 09 FLHR, never used, if interested. Good luck.
