Default @#$@ Fairing Bolts -- Help Please

I was attempting to remove my fairing in order that I may install my new fairing mount mirrors. I got 3 of the 4 out. As luck would have it, the 4th one is stripped in the head therefore, I can not turn it to get it out.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it out?

Also, would you switch screws to something different like flat head or phillips..

Thanks...

Cool

Drill and small easy out then change them all out with stainless steel allen heads.

The most important thing with torx heads is to use the RIGHT size tool! If it's got play in it go to the next larger size. It's easy to strip them out with a smaller size.

Torque(Star) Head #27 is the proper bit to use.

Also, buy an in/lbs torque wrench and torque them to 25 in/lbs when you re-install them.

First time I did it by feel and the bottom screws were fairly loose the next time I went to remove them.

PS if your inside the fairing check your fairing brackets.. they break at the top. the black vertical ones.
