Help I think I killed my bike
I just replace my stock Harley bars with a pair of Paul yaffe mini apes
now my 2014 street glide won’t run!!
I ohm out the wires and there’s no brakes in the wiring
I even took the handlebars off pulled the wires out to make sure there were no brakes internally reinstall the wiring continuity test it again no brakes in the wiring check the fuses no blown fuses
move the control pods a couple times still nothing
all I have is a little red heartbeat telling me that they alarm is working
HELP

All fixed
So just replaced entire wire. Took a bit of effort to get out of the housing. But all done

Can you splice the wires back together when this happens or have to replace them
if you pinched a wire in half, can you cut them and just splice them or do you have to replace the whole wire?

You should not need to replace the entire circuit. If it is simply cut, or a section of the wire smashed, it can be repaired. Do you have a picture of the damage?

they were just smashed to the point of wire was exposed. So i cut them and spliced them together , but my 2017 ultra limited still wont start , i have power and it turns over but wont start. I slso noticed the radiator fans start up when trying to start it . Not sure if thats normal. I cant remember if it did that before 🤪 it’s like it’s not getting fuel , I got a bunch of codes but they cleared after I fixed the wires … any ideas ???
