Came up to a 4 way stop one lane each direction, Put my foot down slippery noticed oil lots of oil. As I started going the back end started fish tailing thought I was going down. Instinct took over avoided the front brake, at least I think I did, and pulled out of it. Gave a wave to a brother going the other way. I did notice on his face the look like dude you should be on the ground. I owe the big guy another one, I really hope he isn't keeping track because he comes thru for me way more then I for him. Any ways carefull at those intersections.
Side note: I just had the bagger brace put on 30 mon before this was my first ride with it. I can't say it had anything to do with saving my *** but I'll give a thanks to Ron at bitchin Baggers just in case. There wasn't any wobble then.

Yeah, Had a friend who had spun out of control at 180 degrees when he made a left turn at the intersection. Wasn't going fast as he took his time...Bam, He was on the pavement the next second in a flash. Close to $3,000 worth of damage. He was OK except for his bruised ego.

Be careful...Bro,

Thorey

Center of lane oil can be a bitzh! It can also be a bitzh in a parking space.I have had afew close calls dropping her while puliing in/out of parking spaces. I will always try to avoid but sometimes you have no choice. It can be slick on footing as well. Sometimes worse than leaves or gravel!
Glad it turned out ok for ya!. Had a Bozo on a Ninja not too long ago spin his out at a light during "take off".

I hear ya Born2cure

I had the same experience, well sorta at work a few months ago. One of my fellow co-workers owns a car that is know as the Exxon Valdez as it is know to "leak" oil a bit. Well I happen to be backing the scoot up in a parking spot one day and WHOA my right leg goes shootin' out and I almost lost it. The bike started listing and I'm thinking to myself "Kenny I'm a gonna kill you" I slapped the foot back on the and strained to keep from letting it hit the ground. Saved the scoot but damn I had a pain in my right butt cheek for a week. I went in and gave him a piece of my mind and he just laughed at me. Funny thing is he rides a Kawasaki Vulcan.
